A little about our leadership team…
Jason Newsome
Pastor
Dr. Jason Newsome has been serving in ministry for more than 20 years. Pastor Jason has a genuine heart to help others and spends a great deal of his time in doing so. In addition to his role at Connection Point Church of God, Pastor Jason owns and operates Dayspring Counseling Center, Inc. He and his wife, Stacy, have four children. Pastor Jason also has a personal website where he writes about mental health and life problems from a Biblical perspective.
In addition to serving as Pastor of the Connection Point Church of God, Pastor Jason is the regional bishop in our area of West Virginia, assisting the State Administrative Bishop in the oversight of 10 churches in our region.
KATHY GILLISPIE
Youth and Children
Kathy Gillispie is the Youth and Children’s Pastor at Connection Point Church of God. Her passion for teaching and leading young people is evident in Kathy’s work. Kathy’s love for children and youth is exciting and encouraging and it shows in all she does with them.
ALBERTA KINCAID
Women’s Ministries
Alberta Kincaid is President of Women’s Ministries at Connection Point Church of God. Her many talents and abilities along with her desire to get things done make her quite an asset here in our church. In addition to heading our Women’s Ministries, Alberta assists in our children and youth programs, our prayer ministry, and leads our events team.
